SILICONE FINISH

Innovative exterior finish with a diverse texture, perfect for protecting facades. Created according to a proprietary formula based on a mixture of acrylic and silicone with the addition of hydrophobic substances. Designed for use on both external and internal surfaces.

The silicone finish is suitable for outdoor use, on wall and ceiling surfaces, as a finishing layer. It can be applied to concrete, traditional finishes, smooth mineral surfaces, surfaces finished with filler material, and other substrates after appropriate preliminary treatment.

Silicone exterior finish with a varied texture, perfect for wall protection. Made in accordance with the original GM RENDER formula based on acrylic and silicone dispersion, with added hydrophobic agents, designed for both outdoor and indoor use.

Composition

  • Water-dilutable product.
  • Based on an acrylic dispersion and hydrophobic silicone.
  • Very white, rust-free marble and dolomite powders used as fillers.
  • The product contains titanium white additive.
  • The product is tinted with high-quality pigments throughout

Unique features

  • The use of hydrophobic silicone guarantees exceptional resistance to weather conditions.
  • The product contains solid pigments, giving it a durable color.
  • Availability of an unlimited color range, including 215 shades.
  • Effective protection against biological organisms, such as mosses and lichens.
  • The use of two types of fibers with complementary properties enhances durability.
  • Long working time on the wall surface, resulting in an impressive visual effect.
  • Short drying time on the wall, minimizing risks associated with changing weather conditions.
  • The finish composition is carefully selected to maximize color protection from harmful UV radiation.

Additional information

  • Available in various textures.
  • Product based on an acrylic dispersion resistant to aging and water action.
  • The addition of hydrophobic silicone prevents water penetration into the plaster.
  • Enhanced biocide protection against fungi, algae, and lichens.
  • The addition of functional mica facilitates texturing and increases UV resistance.
  • Reinforced with 2 different types of fibers.
  • Extended open time facilitates texturing.
  • Quick drying minimizes the risk of washout by rain.
  • Thoroughly mix SILICONE FINISH until a uniform consistency is achieved. To achieve a thinner consistency, you can add a small amount of clean cold water – do not exceed one cup of water (0.25L) per bucket. Do not aerate the finish while mixing by using too high mixer speeds.
  • Do not add any accelerators, retarders, or other additives to the finish.
  • The manufacturer offers a version of the finish that dries faster at temperatures of 5-10°C and in conditions of high humidity. When ordering the product, order this version of the finish if such weather conditions might occur.
  • Substrates listed below must be dry, clean, load-bearing, and free from impurities, dust, greasy stains, anti-adhesive agents from formwork, and all substances that reduce adhesion to the substrate and may cause discoloration on the surface of the dried plaster.
  • Concrete – poured at least a month before plastering. Clean the surface thoroughly from anti-adhesive agents, then rinse with water and wait for it to dry.
  • Cement plasters – applied at least a week before plastering.
  • Layer reinforced with filler compound – clean and dry.
  • Thin-layer plasters / Painted surfaces / Other mineral surfaces – clean, dry, and strong.
  • Priming – prime all surfaces with PRIMER tinted to the appropriate color to equalize the absorption of the substrate, increase adhesion, improve texture achievement, extend the open time of the applied plaster, and even out the color of the dried plaster.
  • Apply plaster continuously, always working towards the fresh edge of the previously laid plaster to avoid visible joints. Use existing architectural lines and wall edges to eliminate visible plaster joints.
  • Minor color differences in the dried plaster may appear when using buckets from two different batches (compare batch numbers on the bucket or mix 3-4 buckets in a large container to even out the color).
  • Application of “sheep’s wool” texture:
    • Using a trowel: apply plaster with a clean, stainless steel trowel to the thickness of the grain. After application, use the trowel to remove excess plaster to achieve an even thickness of the applied plaster. To obtain a texture on the plaster, rub the plaster with a plastic trowel in a figure-eight motion, lightly pressing it to the plaster surface. Use a steel trowel to collect the excess colored milk from the plastic trowel used for rubbing. Dispose of excess milk in the trash, not in the plaster bucket! Depending on the thickness of the applied texture, rub the plaster within 20 minutes of its application.
    • Machine application: apply plaster using any type of device designed for such application. Apply in a continuous layer to ensure coverage of the entire plastered surface.
  • Application of “beetle” texture:
    • Apply plaster with a clean, stainless steel trowel to the thickness of the grain. After application, use the trowel to remove excess plaster to achieve an even thickness of the applied plaster. To obtain a texture on the plaster, rub the plaster lightly pressing a plastic trowel to the plaster surface. Depending on the chosen direction of movement (horizontal, vertical, circular, or vertical-horizontal), different patterns will be obtained on the plaster surface. Use a steel trowel to collect the excess colored milk from the plastic trowel used for rubbing. Dispose of excess milk in the trash, not in the plaster bucket! Depending on the thickness of the applied texture, rub the plaster within 20 minutes of its application.
  • Plaster dries within 4-6 hours under normal conditions (20°C, 60% air humidity).
  • Drying time depends on temperature and air humidity, substrate properties, and thickness of the plaster.
  • Tools and construction equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after their use or contamination.
  • Dried material can only be removed mechanically.
  • Collect fresh material with a soft, cotton cloth. Collect dried material and dispose of in the trash.
  • Dispose of used primer containers and unused buckets in accordance with local waste management regulations.
  • The product should be stored in tightly sealed buckets, in a dry, cool place at a temperature of 5-25°C, protected from direct sunlight.
  • Shelf life of the product in originally sealed buckets: 12 months from the date of production.
  • Apply the primer only when the substrate and ambient temperature is above 5°C and below 30°C. Such temperature should also be maintained during the drying of the plaster.
  • Do not apply plaster when the relative humidity is above 80%, during precipitation, strong winds, or on a wall exposed to direct sunlight. Such conditions must be maintained for at least 24 hours after applying the plaster.
  • Plaster should not be used on horizontal surfaces exposed to weather elements and on surfaces exposed to continuous water exposure.
  • The manufacturer recommends using plasters on facades in colors with a brightness index of at least 20.
  • The product is water-dilutable. Use in accordance with safety regulations applicable to building chemistry products. Follow the safety data sheet.
  • Ensure proper ventilation in the application area. It is recommended to wear protective goggles and gloves when working with the product. Replace soiled work clothes with clean ones.
  • SKIN CONTACT: wash thoroughly with soap and water.
  • EYE CONTAMINATION: rinse immediately and thoroughly with running water (for 5-10 minutes) and seek medical advice.
  • BREATHING DIFFICULTIES: move the person immediately to fresh air and contact a doctor.
  • HYGIENE: wash hands after working with the product, and wash work clothes after finishing work.
