SILICONE COATING

A hydrophobic exterior paint based on acrylic and silicone dispersion for creating smooth, matte coatings outdoors. It provides the ideal finish for concrete surfaces, cement plasters, thin-layer mineral and polymer plasters, walls, cement boards, and other mineral surfaces. Available in a wide range of ready-to-apply colors.

For exterior use on suitably prepared wall and ceiling surfaces. As a finishing layer, it can be applied to concrete, traditional plasters, thin-layer mineral and polymer plasters, even mineral surfaces, walls, and cement boards. The paint can be used on previously painted surfaces or thin-layer plasters.

A hydrophobic exterior paint ideal for concrete, plaster, and mineral surfaces offers a smooth, matte finish and comes in various colors. Suitable for exterior walls and ceilings, it can be applied over both new and previously painted surfaces.

Composition

  • Water-dilutable product.
  • Product based on acrylic dispersion.
  • Selected very white, high-quality marble and dolomite flours free from any impurities.
  • The product contains added titanium white.
  • The product is colored with high-quality pigments throughout its mass.

Unique features

  • Smooth, matte texture;
  • Exceptionally high resistance to weather conditions due to the applied hydrophobic silicone.
  • Protected against biological actions – mosses and lichens;
  • Reinforced with microfiber to prevent cracking when applying the paint in a thick layer;
  • Quick drying time on the wall to avoid issues caused by changing weather conditions;
  • High resistance to ultraviolet radiation / fading, thanks to the use of special fillers;
  • The product is colored throughout its mass to even out wall color;
  • Unlimited color options, including 215 from our palette;
  • Short drying time on the wall to prevent weather-related issues.

Additional information

  • Smooth matte surface when dried.
  • High resistance to atmospheric conditions due to hydrophobic additives.
  • Increased amount of biocides protecting the coating from fungi, algae, and lichens.
  • Used minerals increase the coating’s UV resistance.
  • Quick drying minimizes the risk of washing off the paint by rain.
  • Thoroughly mix the paint to achieve a uniform consistency. To achieve a thinner consistency, you can add a small amount of clean cold water – do not exceed a glass of water (0.25L) per bucket. Do not aerate the paint during mixing by using too high mixer speeds.
  • Do not add any accelerators, retarders, and other additives to the paint.
  • The substrates, as listed below, must be dry, clean, load-bearing, and free from contaminants, dust, greasy spots, anti-adhesive agents from formworks, and all substances that reduce adhesion and can cause discoloration on the dried paint surface.
  • Non-bearing substrates should be verified, cleaned, and primed with deep-penetrating US87 primer.
  • Absorbent substrates should be primed with US86 primer.
  • Concrete – poured at least a month before plastering. Thoroughly clean the surface from anti-adhesive agents, then rinse with water and wait for it to dry.
  • Cement plasters – applied at least a week before painting.
  • Cement boards, walls – clean and dry.
  • Thin-coat plasters/Previously painted surfaces/Other mineral surfaces – clean, dry, and strong.
  • Consumption depends on the application technique and substrate quality.
  • Consumption on a smooth substrate is about 150 ml/m2 for each layer. On rough surfaces, proportionally more. Exact consumption should be determined by a test on the object.
  • Priming – prime all surfaces tinted to the appropriate color to equalize substrate absorbency, increase paint efficiency, improve appearance, and even out the color of dried paint. Colorful thin-coat plasters renovated do not require priming.
  • Renovated surfaces, previously painted with facade paints, must be thoroughly cleaned from loose particles and primed with deep-penetrating primer.
  • Paint can be applied with a roller, brush, or by spraying.
  • Apply primer in one, even, and continuous layer.
  • Paint dries within 2 hours under normal conditions (20°C, 60% air humidity).
  • Drying time depends on temperature and air humidity, substrate properties, and method of primer application.
  • Construction tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use or contamination.
  • Dried material can only be removed mechanically.
  • Collect fresh material with a soft, cotton cloth. Collect dried material and dispose of as waste.
  • Dispose of used primer containers and unused buckets in accordance with local waste management regulations.
  • The product should be stored in tightly sealed buckets, in a dry, cool place at a temperature of 5-25°C, protected from direct sunlight.
  • Shelf life of the product in originally sealed buckets: 12 months from the date of production.
  • Apply paint only when the substrate and ambient temperature is above 5°C and below 30°C. This temperature should also be maintained during paint drying.
  • Do not apply paint at an air humidity above 80%, during precipitation, or on a wall exposed to direct sunlight. These conditions must be maintained for at least 2 hours after applying the paint.
  • The product is water-dilutable. Use with safety precautions applied to construction chemistry products. Follow the safety data sheet.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation in the application room.
  • Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Use protective gloves and goggles during work.
  • SKIN CONTACT: Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
  • EYE CONTAMINATION: Rinse immediately and thoroughly with running water (for 5-10 minutes) and seek medical attention.
  • BREATHING DIFFICULTIES: Move the person immediately to fresh air and contact a doctor.
  • HYGIENE: Wash hands after working with the product, and wash work clothes after finishing the job.
